A.K.A. Better World: Advice from Kids to Adults for a Better World - eTwinning project

Five teams from Greece, Turkey, Georgia and Ukraine worked hard to search for the ways to change and improve the future.  They carried out joint studies and met with decision makers on issues that concern our future and introduced their suggestions how to solve the problems.  They learned to be responsible thinking about climate change, culture and local arts protection, social values, children's rights, data protection. They took an active part in Europe Code Week. And they wrote messages to their future self. The students developed collaborative working habits, improved their ICT and communicative skills during the project. They are all ready to make a difference for the future now.

Active EU-Twinners project

The project aimed at promoting active citizenship and during the project students investigated authentic challenges and problems about important issues such as bullying, equality/diversity, safety at school, environmental problems. They seriously started thinking about their belonging to the European community, reflected on how to become a responsible EU citizen and took actions in order to make the world a better place. They also developed the four Cs of 21st century learning approach: collaboration, communication, creativity and critical thinking. PBL and Active Learning were the focus of all activities and project tasks and as a result wonderful common products were created.

eTwinning project "S.P.A.C.E."

В проекті взяло участь 28 вчителів із 9 країн. Всі проектні завдання реалізовувались на уроках англійської мови через міжпредметні зв'язки: астрономія, космос, навколишнє середовище, мистецтво, культура, людина і суспільство, задіяні елементи STEM технологій.  За допомогою онлайн інструментів учасники проекту розвивали всі необхідні навички 21 століття: співпраця, комунікація, критичне мислення, творчість. В ході проекту команди створили комікси про відомих космонавтів з різних країн, винайшли нову планету в космосі, створили інтернаціональні міністерства і запропонували закони, які будуть діяти на цій планеті, спільно написали театралізвану історію з відомими персонажами і інсценували уривок іншої команди використовуючи Tableu Vivant, зробили спільне лого.  А ще до проекту долучились астронавти NASA, які провели для учасників ряд цікавих вебінарів. Команда нашої школи була представлена учнями 7 і 8 класів, але молодша група п'ятикласників - ітвіннерів із задоволенням долучилась до проекту і допомогала  своїми фантазіями і креативністю: космонавти в космосі, космічне різдво, Хеллоуін в космосі, був проведений урок з елементами STEM технологій, де були використані навчальні матеріали NASA.

eTwinning project "From Women's Day (8 March) to Europe Day (9 May)

The project is about women in Europe. Schools throughout Europe explored three global holidays through the point of view of the woman: Women's Day on March 8th, World Heath Day on April 7th and Europe Day on May 9th. We know what mankind has done for the world, but what about WOMANkind?

Tема проекту - жінки в Європі, їх роль в історії та в різних сферах життя суспільства. Проект об'єднав багатьох вчителів та учнів більше ніж з 20 країн Європи. Учасники проекту досліджували 3 свята (Міжнародний жіночий день, Всесвітній день здоров'я та День Європи) з позиції жінки. Такий собі жіночий погляд сторінками історії, досягнення та можливості жінок. Як у казці про Попелюшку, яка відкривала 3 горішка, так і наші команди поступово відкривали для себе роль жінки в кожному із 3 міжнародних свят. Результатом спільної роботи стало створення лого проекту, збірки постерів до Дня здоров'я, різноманітних онлайн книг.

eTwinning project DEMOC-RIGHTS

Democracy can be found everywhere in our environment, especially in educational life and its understanding leads to the future where citizens are aware of what happening around them and they influence the development of the society. Learning Democratic Participation through the eTwinning Platform improved students' self-awareness, decision making and collaboration skills. Students learnt about their Rights and Obligations, improved their attitudes to the Class and School Rules as well as at the level of a wider society.

Навчання демократії участі на платформі eTwinning. Проект про права та обов'язки учнів в школі та класі, права дітей в глобальному світі, розуміння принципів демократії та відповідальністі за розвиток суспільства. Учасники проекту ознайомились із Конвенцією прав дитини і підписали петицію - звернення до світових лідерів щодо дотримання прав кожної дитини.

Проект Україна та Греція: Подарунки від серця

Проект, в якому команди обмінювались подарунками з історії та культури, міфології та мови, природи та традицій. Учасники відкривали для себе розмаїття іншої культури та створювали онлайн ігри, інтерактивні зображення, спілкувались та ділились своїми захопленнями, вчили народні танці та мову партнерів. І зрозуміли, що світ дійсно великий і захоплюючий, в ньому завжди є місце для відкриттів. Τhe two countries offer heart gifts to each other. Various gifts, such as city, nature, history, mythology, tradition, language and democracy gifts. The project aims the students: 

- to learn the historical, cultural, natural dimension of their countries.
- to get to know each other and discover what they have in common, through cultural exchange. 
- to encourage each other to create bonds of friendship, heart ties.
- to understand the democratic participation: how to participate democratically in decision-making.
- to let their voices be heard.
- to recognize the European values and to follow them in their lives by showing it through attitudes and beliefs.
- to develop skills of life.
